BI International was founded in 1995 on the principle that while 'business intelligence' was vital to competitiveness its full promise could only be met with effective alignment between business and IT. In these 10 years, BI International has pursued this goal across multiple technical platforms, relationships and industries, helping define how IT needs to be aligned with people, process and strategy to maximize shareholder value.
BI International offers 'business solution' programs* as well as powerful 'business meta-data modeling' tools for software vendors and system integrators, in addition to implementing solutions directly for customers. These programs and tools leveraged work and best practice research conducted with major companies in the Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Product industries.
In 2002, BI International began developing tools and best practices for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), working closely with accounting and consulting firms, to optimize the cost of compliance, while also transforming it into value for the business. In 2003, BI International further strengthened its core competence in 'business content and consulting' through a joint-venture with the PMSI Group, a UK-based diverse strategy consulting firm. |
