InformationActive Inc. was formed in early 2003 to create innovative software solutions to bring data mining and manipulation to the masses. Our tag line, "Turn your data into information" embodies this philosophy.
John West, InformationAcitve’s VP of Engineering was the lead programmer for IDEA project at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (later sold to Caseware) for over 15 years. Michael Pluscauskas, President of InformationActive has been involved in a number of technology startups and has been vice-president of a NASDAQ traded IT security firm.
InformationActive's first product, ActiveData TM for Excel, achieves this goal by smoothly integrating high-end, easy to use data mining and manipulation functions into Excel. This enables users to import, analyze and shape their data from within a familiar interface, one that is shared by more than 120 million Microsoft Excel users worldwide. ActiveAudit
